Cardiac Care Equipment is vital to hospitals around the world. Without the proper equipment, many hospitals and clinics are helpless when a sick patient is brought to them. Assist International is proud to deliver this cutting-edge equipment to hospitals around the world so that they can be an effective source of treatment.
RECENT SAMPLES OF THIS TYPE OF WORK:
Irapuato General Hospital, Mexico: Assist traveled to Irapuato to donate life-saving medical equipment. Crucial support for the project came from Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital, Salinas Rotary, and Castroville Rotary.
The hospital received two outstanding ultrasounds, pulse oximeters, two ventilators an 8 bed telemetry system, a 8 bed cardiac care monitoring system for the recovery room and medical supplies and accessories, all of which were valued at over $600,000.

Butare Teaching Hospital, Rwanda: In April 2005, Assist International traveled to Butare, Rwanda to complete a medical installation project. One of the primary goals of Rwanda is to improve the Ministry of Health capacity to perform program monitoring and evaluation and to upgrade the hospitals of Rwanda.
Crucial support for the project came from Rotary District 5170, the Roatary Foundation, and the Butare Rotary Club.
The Butare University Teaching Hospital not only needed an upgraded intensive care/cardiac care department but adequate training on the maintenance and use of the equipment. Local rotaries teamed with Assist International in the installation of a 6 bed cardiac care monitoring system with central station, a 6 bed "step down" cardiac care monitoring system, a 6 bed telemetry system including medical supplies and accessories.
Assist International provided biomedical engineering training on maintenance and repair and provided cardiology training for the equipment to the doctors and nurses of the ICU/Critical Care Department of the hospital.
