Assist International is working with AOET (Action for Empowerment), a Jinja-based organization that cares for nearly 4,000 children. The village is used for orphans and widows who have been impacted by the AIDS epidemic. In the first phase, 18 homes have been built, but there is always a need for additional homes. Plans also call for a school, a micro-enterprise training facility, and a health clinic. Learn More
