This video is a result of an assessment by Assist International to plan for an installation of cardiac care monitoring equipment at the Jalalabad Public Hospital in Afghanistan. This will be a partnership project sponsored by Rotary International, through several Bay Area Rotary Clubs, with support from the Washington Hospital and community of Fremont and surrounding area, coordinated through Assist International.

Assist International, together with PATH Ministries and Vintage Faith Church of Santa Cruz CA (In Honor of Alfred Cannizzaro) build a home for orphan children in the Lira region of northern Uganda.

 

 

Assist International in Ghana with Adidas (September 2008)

Assist International is grateful for the generosity of the people at adidas, who made a huge donation of high-quality apparel to our charity.

We sent many of the items to Ghana, West Africa, as part of our Empowerment Programs for Vulnerable Children. These orphans are now styling!

(And yes, the soccer ball was donated too.)

 

 

Assist International in Uganda and Kenya (September 2008)

Assist International works with its partners to build water purification equipment in Kenya while providing clean drinking water in Uganda.

 

Assist International in Senegal (July 2008)

 



Assist International sends in a four member team to build two structures to hold Polytanks. These tanks hold a three day supply of filtered water for the hospital in case the municipal supply is shut off, as is often the case.

 

 

Assist International in China (May 2008)

Assist International & Rotary International sends a team to install cardiac care equipment in the Toajing County Hospital. Assist provided six GE 4000 Dash monitors that measure blood pressure, respiration, oxygen levels and other vital signs. One machine will save a dozen lives in a matter of months.

 


Assist International in Honduras (March 2008)

Assist International sends a six-member team to construct two buildings to house water filters from GE Technology.

It supplies clean water for the hospitals in Gracias and La Esperanza.
