Assist International in Ghana:
As part of the three year partnership with GE to help the poor and needy of Ghana, A. I. Executive Director Tim Reynolds led a team on a visit to six rural hospital sites in March 2007.
These sites now have steady power, purified water and medical equipment. In these six rural villages, we are now able to alleviate diarrhea and other water born diseases among the children and adults in these villages. Life-saving medical equipment is also close at hand, equipment that will change an intensive care room from a room of death to a room of life.
