The Peltier Hospital is the referral and teaching hospital and the only hospital available for all the people of Djibouti. The Intensive Care Facility's cardiac care monitors were refurbished to "like new" condition. Assist International provided a 6-bed telemetry system, a 6-bed Philips flat screened full perimeter cardiac care monitoring system with central station to the new Cardiology Wing. 6 Philip Veridia Monitors on roll stands completed the project. The hospital went from a hospital with only 4 working monitors to one with 24 stations/monitors by which patients can be monitored.
