Assist International's Water & Power Programs: Life is impossible without water and perilous without a clean and drought-proof source. Assist provides families, villages and hospitals with the capacity to access and store this essential element of life in a wide variety of settings and nations.

Stable electrical power is another strategic element which brings immediate benefit and future capacity. We have completed a number of projects which have enabled schools, hospitals, orphanages and villages to radically increase their effectiveness and outreach. Hospital renovation is another of our essential activities which expand the capacity of national healthcare systems to meet the needs of the people.

Water and Power

Assist International directly funds and supports the building of clean water and power sources. Here are some examples of our recent Water an Power projects:

Olanchito, Honduras

In Olanchito, Honduras, Tim Reynolds and Jim Stunkel oversee pouring of a concrete pad for the building that will house water filtration equipment and answer questions about the water flow. Your continued donations are helping us make an important difference in the lives of many people. Thank you for helping us lift and empower these lives beyond mere existence.

Kenya & Uganda

Tim Reynolds recently traveled to Kenya to oversee completion of the GE Water Filtration Project for the Yala Sub District Hospital. A two year-old orphan boy named "Senator Obama" is looked after by staff of the hospital. Tim also traveled to AOET in Uganda to view the finished water well sponsored by Assist International, Love Mercy and Mukono Rotary Club. Your donations helped pave the way for these installations as well... so, thank you for your continued support!

Senegal, West Africa

Assist International traveled to Senegal, West Africa to install two structures to hold Polytanks. These tanks hold a three day supply of filtered water for the hospital in case the municipal supply is shut off, as is often the case. Our dedicated partner, GE, graciously donated the equipment, and we thank them for their continued support in our work. Your donations helped pave the way for these tanks as well - we could not have finished these projects without your support, thank you!
