While visiting Romania with his wife in 1990, Bob Pagett felt compelled to respond to the humanitarian crises he witnessed. With just a fax machine, a typewriter, and a desire to help the poor and needy in the developing world, Assist International was born. Today, Assist International consists of two offices, one 30,000 ft. distribution center, 20 full-time employees, and countless volunteers. We are proud of our history and excited about the future.
